What is Lovely Lemon Co?

We’re a skincare company rooted in real results, real ingredients, and real friendship. Everything we make—from our cult-favorite Girly Bar to our tallow body butters—is handcrafted with care and tested on us.

Where are your products made?

All of our products are made by hand in small batches in the USA (by a team that truly loves what they do).

Are your products safe for sensitive skin?

Yes! We use simple, nourishing ingredients that are gentle on sensitive skin. No parabens, or fillers—just wholesome ingredients your skin will love. We do use phthalate free fragrances, and you should always patch test before using them all over your body.

What’s the difference between your soaps?

  • The Girly Bar: For intimate areas—pH-conscious and made to help eliminate odor.

  • Lemon Drop Beauty Bar: For your face—brightening and clarifying, made with turmeric and kojic acid.

  • Restore Bar, Rich, moisturizing lathers made for full-body cleansing (plus they are extremely gentle)

  • How should I store my products? Keep them cool and dry. For soaps, use a well-draining soap dish to extend their life. For tallow products, avoid heat and direct sunlight.

Do your body butters melt?

Our new formula is designed to be creamy and stable—so it won’t melt in transit like whipped versions can. Still, keep it out of hot mailboxes when possible!

💡 Brand Questions

Did you used to be Say It Scents?

Yes! Our founder originally started the business as Say It Scents—making products by hand in her garage. As the brand grew, she rebranded to Lovely Lemon Co and built a team to support the growth. We’ve since expanded our product line, upgraded our formulas, and elevated every part of the experience.

Do you still carry Say It Scents products?

No—we no longer carry products under the Say It Scents name. Everything we sell now is under Lovely Lemon Co, made with updated formulas, improved packaging, and more rigorous standards.

When I send an email, am I talking to Kiersten?

Not directly. Kiersten is still actively involved in the brand, but when you email us, you’re speaking to our customer experience team. They’re trained, kind, and equipped to help with anything you need—so you’ll always be taken care of.


📦 Orders & Shipping

How long does shipping take?

We are proud to be manufacturing all of our products in-house.  Because of this, our products are made to order, and production time can very to insure we are producing quality skin care.  Please allow 3-4 weeks for order processing before emailing customer service.  Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. 

Address Accuracy:

Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order.  We are not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect address entered at checkout.

Lost or Delayed Shipments:

Lovely Lemon Co is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier or for packages lost due to incorrect shipping information provided at checkout.

If your package appears lost:

  • Check around your property and with other household members.
  • Ask neighbors in case it was delivered nearby.
  • Contact your local carrier for assistance.

Do you ship internationally?

Not at this time—but we will be working on it in the future!

What if my package arrives damaged?

Email us at support@lovelylemonco.com within 3 days of receiving your order and we’ll make it right.


🔁 Returns & Subscriptions

What’s your return policy?

At Lovely Lemon Co, we prioritize your safety and satisfaction. Due to the nature of our products, our return and refund policy is as follows:

Returns:

  • We do not accept returns on any skincare products. For health and safety reasons, once a product has been opened or used, it cannot be returned.

Refunds:

  • Refunds will only be issued in the case of damaged or defective items. If you receive a product that is damaged or not as described, please contact our customer service team within 7 days of receiving your order with a description and, if possible, photographic evidence of the issue.

Scent Swap:

  • We offer to replace item with different scent at no cost to customer if requested within 30 days of purchase.

Order Cancellation:

  • You may cancel your order within 24 hours of the sale. Please note that cancellations are not possible once an order has been processed.

Can I skip or cancel my subscription?
Yes! You can manage your subscription through your customer portal—skip, cancel, or swap anytime. Need help? Just email us.

Subscription Cancellation Policy:

Subscriptions automatically renew on the scheduled billing date unless canceled prior to the renewal.

If you wish to cancel your subscription, you must do so before your next auto-renewal date to avoid being charged for the upcoming order.

If you cancel your subscription on or after the auto-renewal date, your order may have already begun processing. In this case, you must contact our customer service team as soon as possible to request a cancellation. While we will do our best to accommodate your request, we cannot guarantee that orders can be canceled once they have been processed.

🌸 Girly Bar FAQs

What is the Girly Bar used for?
The Girly Bar is our best-selling soap made specifically for intimate areas. It features ingredients known to eliminate odor, support your natural pH, and keep you feeling fresh—all without harsh ingredients.

Is the Girly Bar pH balanced?
It’s not artificially pH-adjusted like some synthetic cleansers, but it is pH-conscious—meaning it’s formulated with gentle, nourishing ingredients that won’t disrupt your natural flora.

Can I use it every day?
Yes! It’s made to be used daily. Just lather, cleanse externally, and rinse thoroughly.

Is it only for women?
Nope! While it was formulated with vaginal care in mind, anyone who wants to stay fresh (especially in hot weather, post-gym, or during their cycle) can use it.

Will it help with odor or discharge?
Many customers say it’s the only thing that actually keeps them fresh. It doesn’t cover up odor with fragrance—it tackles the root of the issue by gently cleansing without disrupting your natural balance.

Can I use it while pregnant or postpartum?
Always check with your doctor if you’re unsure, but yes—many pregnant and postpartum customers have used and loved it. It contains no synthetic fragrances, parabens, or sulfates.

Can teens use it?
Absolutely. It’s gentle enough for teens just starting out with hygiene routines and looking for a clean, natural option.

Why does it have a natural scent?
The Girly Bar has a light, natural smell from ingredients like apple cider vinegar—one of the reasons it works so well. We don’t use artificial fragrance to mask it, because synthetic scents can actually throw off your pH and cause irritation.
